Should You Begin Shaving Your Head

Losing hair faster than your friends can be tough but there is an important question: Should I completely remove all of my hair or do I keep it? I have some advice for this problem. I have a survey that included the good and bad from guys who shave their heads often.

The major benefits are: 1. Looking your age instead of older 2. It usually looks better than the easy alternatives (leaving hair as is, a comb over, or hats) 3. It makes you appear confident by not hiding anything.

The downsides are: 1. Others can clearly see you are balding (no matter how good you think your shaving technique is!) 2. It won’t look great if you don’t have a well shaped head 3. You will have to spend time shaving to keep up the style.

However, shaving isn’t for all of us. In fact, many people who have scalp issues or a small neck usually decide not to do it. But of course there aren’t any specific rules. The best way to figure it out is to actually do it and see what you look like. But doing it all at once may be a bad choice so you may want to cut your hair shorter slowly. You should be able to see whether or not if being bald is going to suit you or not.

One great thing about cutting it shorter is that you will be able to keep some hair on your head in case it is a bad idea. But I have some advice: don’t cut down your hair shorter too slowly because you might not see that it is going to look bad when someone else looks at you rather than you looking in the mirror all of the time.

The bottom line is, you need to do whatever makes you look best and not what your neighbor or the guy at the gym thinks. The good news for those who are planning on taking the plunge is that the vast majority of men who have tried head shaving say that the look suits them and they’re glad they did it.
