Several months ago I started losing so much hair because of stress. It was alarming for me because I have always had a thick hair. It is so thick that it is actually the envy of my a lot of my friends and colleagues. I also had falling hair but it was nothing beyond what is medically acceptable. My doctor said the cause is stress. It really manifests in different ways, this is how it manifested on me.
The hair fall started getting worse when I moved to a new job. I tried changing shampoo and stopped using conditioner but nothing was working. It was alarming because whenever I run my fingers through my hair, a chunk falls out. I went to the doctor and she said it is primarily stress. She advised me to chill a bit, take lots of vitamins with zinc, have a balanced diet and change my shampoo.
I was researching for different shampoos that restore hair and I saw Nioxin so I gave it a try after I cleared it with my doctor. At that point, I was willing to settle for anything that will just stop my falling hair. I was at that stage when I my hair was still acceptable.
I used Nioxin and was really happy that I had incredibly less falling hair. After several weeks of using it, my doctor noticed new hair growing. It does grow on the normal speed (don’t believe any product that says they will make your hair grown faster) but the point is that it was growing.
I do have one negative comment. It is more expensive than most shampoos available in the market. That is, of course, acceptable for me considering the result that it has given me but this might be a big turn of to a lot of other consumers out there.
Bottom line, I will recommend this product. It is a bit more expensive than the usual shampoo in the market but it’s worth it.
